To get a feel for Elon Musk’s personality and background, this is a fantastic read. Beginning with Elon’s formative years and undergraduate years, the author delves into his rise to outstanding entrepreneur status, detailing his triumphs and tribulations along the way. This book has my enthusiastic recommendation.

Most people know something about his work with Tesla and SpaceX, but he has been involved with many other areas like working on a plan to make tunnels under LA to help with the traffic problem.
This book focuses on his purchase of Twitter and changing it into X because of his concerns about free speech and the role of social media. Musk is planning to expand X into a site that would be a hub for commerce and communication.
The biography doesn’t discuss his personal life or go into depth about SpaceX and its goal to go to Mars. As the title indicates, it focuses on free speech. There are some typos and repetition, but overall I enjoyed the book and gained an overview of Musk’s life.
